Ultimate Spider-Man Fan Film (Pic Heavy)

Here's a little breakdown for some of my inspiration for Spidey's looks in this film/series.

First of all, a skinny Spider-Man! I know it's a love it or hate it kind of think, put personally I prefer him skinny, and that's one of the main reasons I decided to go with "The Ultimate Spider-Man" as the name.




The eyes, are again influenced by the Ultimate Spider-Man. I'd like to go with something like this, but a bit smaller.




The Spider emblem that I will be using comes straight from Ultimate Spider-Man 160. I really like the look of it, and I think it'll work perfectly.




For the back spider emblem, I'll be going for the classic big round spider. I really like this one, how the spider legs are pointed.




I'll also be taking a bit of my influence from The Amazing Spider-Man movie suit. Specifically the hexagon/honeycomb pattern, the lines that wrap around his legs, and the gloves. I want his middle 2 fingers to be blue and keep the rest red, and also add some grips/pads the his palms and fingers for some practicality.




I've also been influenced by this concept art from the original Spider-Man movie. I love the way the red on his arms are designed, and maybe even the red strip down his legs, I haven't decided 100% on that though.




And finally, more concept art from the first movie. I haven't decided on a look for the web shooters yet, but I love the way that the web design on his arm leads into the web shooters.




And that's a breakdown of my influence for this costume. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hey taylor nice work. ive been workin on the pattern doing the lines and stuff.... its coming along. ive created a muscle map to go with as well. imma try to start a thread once i get more done and my words in order. lol btw where did you find the back spider ive been lookin everywher??? lol well thats it for now.... thanks again.

All the best and good luck with your fan film. I look foreword to seeing it. Spidey is my favorite super hero by far. I've always liked the bigger eyes and the skinner build. I've never seen that concept of web shooter but it's a really cool looking design.

I can tell by your inspirations that's it's going to be a sweet looking suit.

Taylor have you made a pattern for this idea yet?

DUDE! Mark Bagley is seriously my second favorite marvel penciler ever!(Second only to , Dare I speak his name, King Kirby himself.) It's going to be sweet seeing a suit with inspirations by him.I too am partial to the huge eyes/skinny look. It's one reason the Amazing spider-man looks cool. I can't wait to see yours too.
