Just finished episode 3. I'm liking it so far!
Interesting how they have changed some of the design. The light cycles for example, not bad, just different.
After 3 episodes it's still looking good. The new vehicles look pretty good as well. Nice to see Tron.
I thought the Clonetroopers had long legs, until I saw these. But they're computer people, so their legs can be any length they want, I guess.
I was waiting for them to use the Lightcycle trailing wall thingy. Does it only work on the game field?

@ Soulinertia : Yep, it's a crossover between the two movies' lightcycles. I really dig the aesthetics of the series, I dunno why but they are more " Tron " than the movie IMHO.
@ Terryr : They already did in a couple occasion, like cutting the rope between Beck and the black warrior...
They have different styles of Lightcycles. Some were custom built, some are older like the Encom (Flynn's one) and some are more advanced. I like the variety.
I just noticed a couple of days ago that they were advertising the premiere of Tron Uprising on Disney XD this Saturday, at 2:00 I believe, in Manitoba, Canada. I don't know why they didn't start it the same time as in the States, but at least we now get it?
The beginning of episode 4 'Blackout', was pretty surprising; did not expect that to happen. What do you think about Paige? I think she is starting to soften up a bit. Could it be that she will later change sides?
They shoulda used the original style lightcycles instead of flynns... Another damn inconsistency.
Love the show. Just the 20 foot legs and lack of attention to what is glaringly cannon now...
Quorra made it out that flynns white cycle was 1 of a kind...

@ Oldken : I'm not sure Quorra specifies it's one of a kind; She says it's Flynn's and vintage, but this one could be a series model ( hence the production series number ), while Flynn's could be a prototype ( and much faster ) than the other ones.
And honestly, if the series would turn to be a kind of reboot to prepare for the next movie, I would be glad. Just my 2 cents.

I have a feeling that Uprising might end up better than Legacy for me too. It's just more retro and cooler so far than Legacy.
I'm digging it. LOVE the animation. Was a big fan of Aeon Flux and it's the same feel, only updated and mixed with the Tron Legacy animation feel. Great combination.
Another good episode this week.

My wife and I are loving this show, the look really translates well to animation and the casting is great. If the writing stays consistently this good I want this show to run forever.

I had to laugh. With their long legs, when they squat their knee is way out there at arms length.
Well, at times she looks a bit off, but you'll get her vibe, besides Olivia is reprising her and worth watching!
Agreed on Quorra. I was very happy to see her in the show, though I had hoped for more.
