It's Robot Chicken Star Wars just not as funny. Literally half of the voices are Seth MacFarlene and Seth Green. On top of that the overly cartoony animation (large heads, small bodies) just makes me cringe. Lucas always talks of how they can't film the Underworld live action movie because of money issues. To me it seems like because they're more focused making this crap.

I enjoyed the original Robot Chicken Star Wars 1 and 2 as well as the Family Guy stuff, but this looks like an extremely dumbed down Clone Wars cartoon.

I will agree it's a perfect title, because it's quite a major detour for sure...

    +1.

Even some of the C6 artwork i've seen (official campaign banner art used for the event) has had that impression on me, too.

Not for me, I dont enjoy shows like it. Saying that, I have no problem with Lucas A) letting the franchise live (Most of the youth I talk to knows SW trough the prequels, and they dont enjoy the old ones more), and B) making SW based stuff aimed at young children. I have no problem at all with the LEGO stuff either. Its not a big leap from that to this.

The stuff I love with the OT, cant be made today -by anyone. I prefer if the franchise lives, not just being some old films, us old nerds look back at with nostagia though.

I don;t have sound here at work, so I couldn't hear the dialog. Going just on visuals though, I'm not that much a fan of the Clone Wars, and this is just worse visually.

I am open to other interpretation and the Lego stuff is actually well done with a good sense of humor that appeals to a fairly general audience for Lego and Star Wars fans alike.

It looks like a 2nd rate Spaceballs. The Lego stuff is amusing and a show done in a more mature way like the new 1313 game wouldn't be bad but this was horrid.

I guessing this "Trailer" is most of the decent footage from the whatever longer version. I was bored and appalled by this one, so I'm not going to bother to seek out the larger version.

Is this thing real or just a test to see if there is enough interest to go ahead with a season?

The Robot chicken and Family Guy for sure had better quality behind it, this looks like a really bad art project for college.

Just watched it again. It isn't so much the low quality or the direction that irks me. It's the overwhelming sense that everyone at LucasFilm is done with Star Wars as a serious franchise. Is there no one at Lucasfilm that wants to just tell an awesome Star Wars story that doesn't depend on parody or that a**hole Anakin?

I think this is it exactly. Lucas said he was done with Starwars so he hands it off to people who try to market it to hell and back even as the quality falls apart just to make a buck as Lucas Films doesn't seem to have much else going on. Eventually Lucas'll do this with the Indy franchise too.

I kinda liked it. I dunno why...lol.... People take Star Wars so damn seriously. The original Trilogy will always be therefor us. Star Wars just isn't like that anymore. It's something that just ins't taken seriously anymore by the majority. This is poking fun at itself and I think it's kinda funny.

Thank god Warner Bros. thought the same way when people didn't take Batman seriously after Batman and Robin.

I'm not even a huge Star Wars fan anymore I just found it obnoxious and poorly done. I like the OT but I also like the later games and EU stuff that I grew up reading.
