I've seen commercials for this, and a couple months ago, Mirror Mirror. After seeing the commercials for both, I was wondering if Snow White is actually in either movie..

Saw this yesterday (what can I say, the trailer looked interesting !) and it gave me plenty to laugh about, mostly unintentionally unfortunatley.
Well at least the production and effects values are outstanding, Snow White has a spore induced druggy trip in the Dark Forest that was superb and it topped a first fifteen minutes that I though was going to be a very good and interestingly adult take on the story.
    And then Chris appeared.
I know it didn't help that I've seen him twice in the Avengers recently and when he was swinging his axe here I kept seeing a hammer. Some of his dialogue is THE WORST I've ever heard (it would make Basil Exposition blush) and it made his performance in THOR by comparisson, oscar winning material.
But its Charlize that steals the entire show as the superbly insanely evil queen who takes hormone replacement treatment to a brand new level of wickedness and originality. I loved her though I feel I shouldn't have.
And Snow White (called the Princess though out the film I noted)? Well, Joan of Arc shes not however much armour she wears but it would be unfair to burn Kirsten at the stake, given how poorly the story and script tone varied, something between Mordor and Pixieland.
And the Dwarves. All EIGHT of them . There is a reason for this and its all in the story. But heres the clue. The newest and EIGHTH dwarf should actually have been called DEADMEAT.
