Aww man.. I had the chance to meet him once on a film & he was a very nice guy to us crewfolk.. R.I.P. Sir.

He was always really likeable in interviews and was behind more than a few films that may not have gotten what they needed to turn out well otherwise.

he had the balls to green light a lot of risky projects that turned out to be great films...big loss to the movie industry. Sad to say, there are more great filmmakers that are gone than are still alive and working.
Alan Ladd Jr. is another great. Wish he still had to power to work his magic and teach these idiots running things now. oh well...
