That is a really ugly poster...
Chould be a huge hit in Noth Korea if anyone can smuggle in a DVD player.
That poster is Ambien realized in print.
Interesting.. if they play it right, it could see a resurgence of interest in the game "Homefront" as it was essentially the same story with North Korea standing in for Russia.
AND it was originally written to be China but, again, altered before release.

Red Dawn was written by Kevin Reynolds or John Milius.
EDIT: Not true if you're talking about the original video game. The author was C.J. Kershner. All the changes from Chinese to Korean were done when C.J. Kershner was the writer.
Actually you're confusing this with the written "Novel" to Home Front which served as an addendum to the game. "THQ announced a tie-in novel, Homefront: The Voice of Freedom, written by John Milius and Raymond Benson, that follows a group of reporters making their way across America, exploring the early days of the occupation."

I was always intrigued by Homefront. I seemed to be the minority however...
Well, at least the poster shows good trigger discipline.
Looks like the brunette found time for mascara during the invasion.
I'm a fan of the original that came out while I was in the Army and it had a cool musical score, but the new one doesn't look to bad from the trailer I'll give it a shot.
I have no problems with remakes normally and I really loved Red Dawn when it first came out in the theaters but I'm not too sure about this remake, from what I've seen so far it looks almost like a shot for shot, or at least scene for scene remake of the original and that's the kind of remake I can't stand. If you're going to remake a film, fine, but at least have the originality of making it your own and while making the occasional nod and homage to the original don't copy the original scene for scene.
I take offense (only somewhat joking). The average age of a soldier serving in the armed services is straight out if high school. The officers come straight out if collage.
I have 18-26 year old airmen in my shop that do more than their share of "protecting the free world" - I am one of them and I'm just over 25.
Sure maybe the average 20 something wouldn't give a **** - but don't forget about the 2% that do it on a daily basis for real - lol
Us "29 and younger" crowd is what makes sure stuff like Red Dawn DOESN'T happen.

Hi,
Directed by Dan Bradley and written by Jeremy Passmore and Carl Ellsworth, Red Dawn is an American action movie, based on the 1984 film of the same name.
Thanks
And the guy's first post on the board nonetheless.
Um, welcome to the RPF? I think?
