The one and "ONLY" Alfred!
Very sad news.
RIP - a class act.
aww, man......that sux.
I might watch 'The horror of Dracula' later on, Gough, Cushing and Lee are a great combo in that movie.
He was an amazing actor. Rest well, Mr. Gough.
RIP Alfred. And the Celestial Toymaker, Councilor Hedin and many others...
Wow that sucks. I thought he was dead already though but damn. He was the only Alfred in my eyes. Don't know him from anything else. He'll be missed.
Rest in peace. He made a memorable presence in the movies he was starring in.
Sad news. RIP.
Sad, but 94 is a heck of a life. We should all be so lucky. R.I.P
He was one of the greats. RIP
Hell of an actor. Terrific range. Don't forget, he also played Alexander Helphand in Fall of Eagles.
sad news indeed..RIP
It came back to me thinking about Gough I saw him in "The Horse's Mouth" from 1958 as Abel the crazy sculptor along side Alec Guinness who wrote the screenplay and stars in the film about a rather half-crazy artist and semi-conman. I remember thinking I know who this guy is, but had to pull up IMDB to discover it was Gough who in the film is this strapping and dangerous loon. It's a really good film watching Guinness play this crazy artist alongside Gough. Worth a look. You'll be amazed it's the same guy who went onto play such an erudite Alfred in the "Batman" films...
Saddening indeed.... a master of the craft.
RIP Alfred. Your duties are finished.
RIP. To me he was the best live action Alfred.
agreed he was the best Alfred
Very sad indeed.
R.I.P Michael, you will live in our Batarangs forever
