And what's interesting is the potential for total lock-down on discussion of this given the extremely touchy political ground Dick covers here. A Fascist America. Wow.
It's interesting that many mainstream dystopian sci-fi films and TV shows revolve around a fascist society, because fascism or it's more benign cousin, federalism, have become the blueprints for dystopia. I really enjoyed A Scanner Darkly.
Philip Kindred Dick died in 1982. His role must be unusual.
