We had one for a time. It was actually the drunk clan. Our clan tags were all different four letter alcoholic drinks. It was awesome to see when we had all six people on a team.sskunky said:

Most of the time, I don't even bother with the headset. Just want to kill stuff.

I have had a few sessions with Slave1pilot and Andy (Otoagakgoi... errrr you know, Andy), GotMaul as well as maybe two with IndyBlues.. I agree that the spawns are truly atrocious and the hit detection is beyond lame. My controller has been on the brink of being put into my TV on more then one occasion.
If we want to resurrect the RPF Drunk clan then we all need to figure out a time and day(s) that are best. For me, I tend to play after the wife goes to sleep (around 10 - 10:30 PM PST) but can, if a set time and day are agreed, will adjust. IF Black Ops gets too frustrating then I say we go back to MW2
EDIT- I had to add this from TK-Fetts post. I hate that sniping has been gimped so badly in this game.... To me it's a valid position and not camping. I have found only one map that sniping is doable.. bad map designs.

So my Xbox started to die and I broke down for the new slim deal. It should be here this week and I thought perhaps some RPF clan action is in order
I also picked up COD MW3 the day before my 360 started to die; go figure...
So, any of the old gang interested???

I wasn't part of "the old gang", but I play MW3 about every night. Gamertag is Eopie Herder (go figure). Just be prepared...a lot of people have been using aim bots and lag switches in that game, and it seems to be getting progressively worse. I'm ready for Black Ops 2 to come out so the cheaters will migrate to that one.

I do not own MW3...but could be tempted. The Single Life has me back in its grasp, so...lots of free time when I am not in the gym.
I have Black Ops, but not MW3 (and don't intend to get it). I've never really tried multiplayer outside of split-screen zombie mode (and still can't get out of Kino der Toten...).
I might be up for some attack/defend mode, but I don't really go for the team deathmatch or free-for-all stuff. I'm on X360, though.
We used to get Team Deathmatch going where it was 12 RPFers, 6 on 6. Good times, those.

I can't stand MW3. I was a beast in black ops but I haven't played it in like 8 months.
I just find deathmatch -- team or otherwise -- to be boring, frankly. It lacks structure and just feels like dudes running around shooting stuff randomly. No rhyme or reason to it. The attack/defense stuff is usually a bit more requiring of some thought, in my experience, rather than just pure reaction speed. At least, that's what it's been like in the Battlefield games. I can't say what it's like in COD, since I've never really played it MP.

Jeff's prophetic return should be more than enough to get a few of the old timers to come back, gameplay was usually secondary to the banter going back and forth in the live party which was half the fun of getting online every night years back.
Listen to Andy you should.... Game was fun but it was more about a group of buds having fun. I know for me playing with my RPF brethren helped me relieve daily stresses.Andy said:
