People LOVE voting the same map over and over again especially Target Practice, Hanoi and Nuketown. They prefer the smaller maps where they know they do good so they pick them over and over.

It is a good way to level up on those smaller maps.
Im surprised no one has mentioned the little RC car you can get with the game. Didn't even know about it until a guy in our barracks was playing around with it. The thing has a color screen on the controller w/ camera on the RC car

i have to take breaks every 20 min or so as the 'flashback' brainwashing 'pop-flash / strobe' effect is pretty nauseating and annoying....
I haven't started SP side yet, just been ranking up in MP and beginning to Prestige..
Just hit level 50 tonight in Multiplayer, I don't think I will prestige though. All my favorite weapons don't come until later in the game and I don't really wanna go back to the crappy ones in the beginning. I seen someone yesterday who's already level 4 or 5 prestige, he had like a bull head for the prestige symbol. I can't believe people are so far ahead already.
Dude, with games like this, there are people who drop EVERYTHING and play non-stop. They will RROD their Xboxes just to get to the next level of blah. Then they'll finally chew through all the levels and say "Man. This game is SO BORING. There's like...nothing to do!"
I should be at level 50 in a day or two. I'm enjoying the game, but there are still alot of things that need fixing. At least Treyarch is on top of things it seems. If anyone wants to team up, send me an invite (yodaman2000).
There was an update for the 360 today. Don't know what it does/fixes but hopefully it will run a little smoother now.

The update fixed the map voting. You can only replay a map once. After the second match it will say "vote not available" for the same map.
Slave I showed your emblem to all my friends, everyone seemed to enjoy it.
The update also fixed the server issues. It took my party of 3-5 people over 50 minutes to get into a damn lobby, now we get right in no problem at all.
In other news, I hit level 30 first prestige today, quite proud of that.
I'm not having server issues with PC.. Though I only play Australian servers due to ping, but I get an average of about 40 ping and 170 FPS.. So I'm happy..
I've just got Level 7 in 2nd Prestige..

Actually, I've given up playing multiplayer matches. I think the gameplay is crap. I play the gun game wager matches and zombies. That's it.
Second to last submachine gun rocks! The AK47 with a silencer and reflex site rocks too. Wonder if I should be saving my 'money' or just buying stuff for the player card? I also think they should call the game Camp Ops.

It's probably to keep people from playing the small ones over and over to level up quicker.
World at War had the same problem with spawning. You'd spawn right next the other team. I like IW's games better for this. You spawn on the other side of the map from where the other team is and have to run back to the fight.clutch said:
Probably because certain maps are camping havens and it really takes all the fun out of it. That one map in the blown up Vietnamese city with all the buildings with holes in them. Good lord. I've never been on a map with more campers.
I'm completely addicted to Wager Matches. They are so much fun and absolutely hilarious to play. There is one called Shootaround where everyone has the same gun and they switch out every 45 seconds or something like that. You can get the minigun and the grim reaper (semi auto rocket launcher). Talk about fun!
I'm just saying that it is a majority vote. If someone doesn't want to be on the same map, then they are free to leave. The leveling up aspect I can see. Definitely not gonna prestiege on this one. What does it buy you? Some extra playercard pics and facepaint?
