Those are really cool. I might actually pick them up if they look that good in production.

I still can't look at that suit and believe it was meant for human engineers. There's just too many things out of proportion. The way the eye sockets are aligned and how the head area seems to provide even less movement than the Batman cowls pre-The Dark Knight. It wasn't just a chair suit either. They were running in this get up.

I doubt they'd of called it the "running suit" as it's intended purpose is to interface with the pilot chair. Those are not eye sockets, and we really don't know what is happening inside the helmet once it's activated. If it's like an apache pilot's helmet there could be all kinds of technology in there.

I love that the engineer figures are scaled up so that the human figs will be standard NECA size. Awesome.

I really hope the line does well enough that we get a Shaw figure.

But if it's just for that one chair, why are so many engineers wearing the suits when they're not even in the ship? I didn't see any of those chairs in the temple. Also, don't forget the engineers in the holograms who aren't wearing the chair suits when they are sitting on the chairs surrounding the middle chair. And if those aren't eye sockets, why have all the holographic mumbo-jumbo that's being projected around the chair if the pilot can't see it?

Still, I'm glad they didn't call it a Jockey suit.

You're even outraged by the decisions of a toy company, huh?

The eyes don't line up with human eyes, but dude, you're a science fiction fan. Please don't tell me you can't come up with a ready rationalisation for that. I can think of at least two handy-dandy ones without even trying - biosuit eyes link to screens inside, or (better) direct neural interfaces. Or maybe they just <tech> the <tech> to the <tech tech tech>.

They should have just called it "environmental suit", since I'm fairly sure that's what it's meant to be.

I hope they don't fall apart coming out of the package like some of the Neca lines did. I'm glad to see that they're doing more than 2 figures from a franchise.

In which outfit? I'd like to see ones of the SE suit with bubble helmet, but that's an awful lot of detail to cram into a figure. Guess the gauze bikini would be ultimate fan service. ._.

These suited engineer figures are kind of cute. I think it's the proboscis part of the mask.

I like the suited version too...The one without the mask looks like this kid from my college that likes to hug me.

Hehe. Shirtless Engineer getting it on with squid monster. I know this has been done to death, but I can't help myself.

Still a better love story than Twilight.
