Mythbusters - WTH man? No Tori, Grant, or Kari?

Kari, Grant and Tory are no longer going to be on the show as they pursue other interests and the show will 'go back to it's roots' with just Adam and Jamie.

Without more information I don't really know what to think or say, I'm hoping the M7 team is moving on to bigger and better things such as Grant working on Star Wars EP7 and Kari getting her own show on the Science Channel.
I am am a HUGE fan of the show and it has been a big part of my family with my kids who also love the show. I've got a 20 year old and a 15 year old that were 10 and 5 when we started watching and they have grown up with the show.
My 6 year old son in OBSESSED with MB so much he had a MB birthday party with a MB cake (Adam retweeted a photo of it when I posted it on twitter) and we did Coke and Mentos as the party activity for the kids. When he was 3 he would go around the house making 'myths' with his toys. He's probably the biggest fan the show has, he'll ask and watch MB DVDs all day on Saturdays.
I was hoping the show would go the other way, with the build team moving back in to M5 and all 5 hosts working on the same myth together each episode. Those episodes in season 2-3 when all 5 worked together are my favorite.
I posted one of my terrible video blogs all about my love for MB last year.

Reading Kari on twitter, sounds like them leaving was not their choice. But she sounds excited for her next big adventure.

They're not going to be on it anymore?! I guess their last FB post makes more sense now. I knew Mythbusters was returning to its earlier format, but I didn't realize that also included dropping the B-team.
I'm mixed on this. On one hand, I like those guys as much as anyone (and who doesn't like Kari?
), and they were a lot of fun, but on the other hand, I do want to see more of Adam and Jamie and have missed seeing the detailed builds as they used to show, and I got regularly annoyed by the B-team saying that Mythbusters was all about explosions and excessively overdoing stuff. Enough with the explosions!
A lot of people aren't happy about this, so I think this might hurt the ratings, but hopefully I'm wrong, and people will enjoy it just as much for the content.

Wat. Although I can't say no to more Adam and Jamie, I'm really going to miss Tory, Grant and Kari. I'm speechless.
I can't believe I missed that.. I guess that's what I get for not keeping up with the show as much as I'd like to

They did have Scotty back as a one off a while back, I think it was on their 3rd attempt to do the rocket car.
I wonder if their budget has been slashed, some of the episodes I have seen lately don't look like they would have cost much, specifically thinking of rules of attraction episode, and bobbing for apples.

I loved MythBusters when it started...then they ran out of Myths:behave....I stopped watching long ago.....now they've announced a road show???:facepalm.......please god kill me:sick.............just go seinfield and stop flogging the dead horse!!......WOW, now that's a reality show right there!:lol

Adam and Jamie are the "bosses" and the gang was "just" assistants, a I see it. "Assistants" not in a classic sense, but more like "side hosts" if there is such a term. So I find it pretty much okay that Jamie and Adam did a "thank you" instead of a "Kari, Grant and Tory say goodbye". Yes, they could have shown Adam and Jamie saying thanks in person to their crew, but I guess that would probably have looked a little awkward.

Debunking paranormal nonsense for instance, alien abduction claims, ancient astronauts and bigfootseses, etc.
But I guess that could fall more into what Penn and Teller did with their show.
But it's sorely needed.
