I had no idea but there was a good bit of the movie shot in Pittsburgh. I was on a site that lists Pgh PD officers in movies and it was listed, along with a bunch of movies I never heard of. I always thought it was shot on location in Detroit. Mind you in the 80s Pittsburgh was pretty run down so you couldn't tell the difference.
Yeah, I think some of it was shot in an old steel mill in the South Side.
Yeah, a little bit of it was shot in PA, with a majority if it being shot in Dallas, Texas.
