Judge Dredd 2012 is gonna rock

I am really looking forward to seeing this, I really like Judge Dredd and hope this big screen version lives up to expectations.
Whilst I enjoyed the previous film (please don't shoot me down!) it did have its shortcomings in amongst it's good points (again, don't shoot me!).

On the downside, the prop options could be many and expensive! :-)

Over on the megacityjustice Facebook page, the one and only John Wagner co-founder of 2000AD posted his personal review of the new Judge Dredd movie that he was privileged enough to be invited to a sneek screening

Great trailer. Finally!

Not sure how much enthusiasm I can raise for this. I was so disappointed by the Stallone version (and then the Tank Girl film), that I almost gave up on British comic book adaptations altogether... or would have, if it had been for V for Vendetta.

I won't be rushing to cinema, but I'll probably catch on DVD.

I'm all set to be completely underwhelmed.

Seriously, this drok is annoying! We're 3 months away from the movie's release, we need a trailer NOW! It should have been seen in front of Prometheus this past weekend! >=(

Better be running in front of The Dark Knight Rises if they want any audience at all! >_<

Who's in charge of the marketing for this film?

Whoever it is, moving forward, I propose a sentence of 3 months in the Cubes for each day that passes without a trailer for the film!

I'm really surprised that a teaser or trailer has not been released, at the very least, online. I know that some times films are in profit before they are released, so the studio won't spend money on marketing (Equilibrium) and the film suffers for it.

You see those pics in the Junkyard of Dredd? Man, it is really bothering me with the way it looks.

I've definitely got aesthetic preferences but I'm not pre-judging the movie based on them. I hope that this is a tight, tense, clever little movie that maybe has that '70's John Carpenter' factor.

I agree that the marketing has been horrible so far.

WORD IS ................... The Trailer hits the streets this coming Thursday ....

Three months before release, and trailers only now? That seems like damage control.

That 10 second preview is from the show ETC on the Machinima channel on youtube. Apparently they're releasing the full version exclusively on their youtube channel on Thursday. Although I'm sure it'll be all over the place as soon as Machinima uploads it. The preview looks freaking awesome though.

Haven't seen much of the design yet but that New Law Master looks terrible. Much prefer the Stallone version.
