The ears are the same shape as Cap's instead of circular, the cheeks extend further back than on the IM helmet, the face isn't as rounded and has angles on the face just before the cheeks, the center "vent" seems more in line with the style of the War Machine helmet, and the lower jaw is a bit more square/angular along the sides.EyeofSauron said:

Whilst roaming the web I stumble on a little image of a "on the set" image of a new armor for IM 3, so I thought to see if it's been noticed on the forum, and it was posted here already!

Admittedly I never read Iron Man comics, but does he actually have any villains aside from Mandarin who aren't guys in mech suits like him?

While I like the idea of Iron Patriot, something about the suit is just bothering me. The colors make it look like too much is going on, but that may be because I am used to Tony's gold and red.

Hopefully they'll have some cool scene that introduces the inception of the new suit design and he won't just drop in from the sky. I love how they did the Hot Rod Red scene in IM1, but this looks a bit too...comic-al for Tony Start to wear in real life and still get any respect.
I second the comments about Steve Rogers - he'll be pissed when he sees that Tony stole his design!! LOL!!
I feel like it will be. I heard the director of IM one will come back. they switched directors for the second one.
