How I'd continue the Batman Franchise.

I would have had DK Rises end with the Knightfall storyline where Bane breaks Batman's back. This would lead Batman to retire and Gotham would go to pieces and Wayne would become a recluse over the years and struggle with the fact that he failed the city in his eyes as well as stop his company from being taken over.
All this time he and Fox work on finding a way to allow him to be batman again even after he regained some mobility but the damage is too great and the prototype suit isn't enough. This would lead into a live action version of the Batman Beyond storyline where he passes the mantle to Terry and becomes a mentor to the kid.

Sounds like a good idea, but isn't this the last movie that they are doing?

It'll be rebooted. Someone's probably already working in the script for it knowing Hollywood.

I like where thats going Wes' that'd be a great way to keep the franchise going without a total reboot.

Too bad good ideas aren't the ones they use in Hollywood lol.

Id make it Batwoman. Or maybe Batman but he's really a woman. Why should multiple identities share gender?

Well in the later animated movies there was a Batwoman (well several women sharing the suit) so between wayne retiring and terry taking over there could have been copycats filling the void. Could even mention Nightwing. I actually had thought of doing a fan comic with this kind of idea (i did a custom figure based on it) but since i can't draw it didn't get far.
