Looks like a Motorcycle Ninja...with a gun....dumb...

...aside from that, his armor looks too Nolan-esque for my taste. They should have kept his helmet as it was in the first movie...

...and what's the deal with those clips on his stomach?? Are they clipped to hold in his gut??

...seriously, the chest pieces looks stolen from Batman...

Wow, really? I agree, it does have the same feel as the Nolan Batman, but to me, that is just a modern design for two characters that are black on black.

I really think this is a MASSIVE upgrade from the first movie and LOVE the new look.

On the issue of the clips... don't even get me started on adding strappping and clips for no reason... I absolutely HATE that... more on that later as it seems to be a recurring issue for this movie.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the new Robo-Bat-Biker-Ninja....

Upon further looking, the phrase "Dead or alive, you are coming with me" came to mind.

The old costume (as seen below) is by no means perfect, but I feel that in comparison, the facial features and musculature of the old costume give a more dramatic look/feel.

I think the new one looks cheaply done - the motorcycle helmet for example (at least they used and Arai helmet) looks terrible...and it looks like they took a really wide piece of electrical tape and muzzled him.

Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to the movie. It seems a lot more rooted to the 80s Joe's that I love.

I'd have liked if they kept the old suit, took out the lips, and reduced the size of the vizor just a little.

I prefer the New style armor. He looks bulkier, but at least it doesn't look like he's going into combat with a liquid latex gimp suit.

Also giving snake eyes mask lips was one of the stupidest things ever. Why not mold some stubble on there too, maybe give him a bitchin rubber Mohawk.

Now that's interesting. I may not like the look of the new suit, but it's encouraging to the 80s lineage of the Joes - and that's something that I can get behind with.

The figure looks pudgy because he's supposed to be wearing a bulky top shirt like a knit sweater. You can see it in the picture. Didn't they do a 25th anniversary resculpt of the orignal figure too? Anyone got a picture of that one? It'd be nice to compare the two figures and the new armor.

They did do a 25th version sculpt, but the one that came in the POC line was WAAAAAYYYYYY better.

And really though, the original figure and this version based on it don't really resemble the movie armor aside from the shape of the mask.

I actually meant the ray park movie snake eyes with the stomach buckles. It looks like he's rocking a bit of a beer gut.
