Lost is one of the most amazing tv shows ever made IMO anyway lol and I was wondering who your favourite character is and why?
I'll kick start it off and I have to say mine is John Locke, reason is he is super cool, a great tracker, hunter and has a arsenal of cool gadgets
So yeah it has to be Locke
It would have to be between Sawyer and Desmond. They were both bad ass, and respectable characters.
I absolutely hated Kate. Every time she opened her mouth, something stupid came out of it.
Definetly my favourite character was Desmond too. The analogy of this character with
Homer's Odysseus or Ulysses, and his love for Penelope (Penny in Desmond's story)
I agree that Lost is an amazing tv show, mixing a lot of ancient symbolism, mythological
characters represented through the main characters, etc.
The problem is that many of the metaphors and symbolism were used with no specific reason, nothing to do with the plot. Only to remind us of those universal characters but without a clear idea of their purpose.
Great thread, sadly I dont have just one I have two. Its a tie between Hurley and Faraday. I loved how both of the characters were written and the actors who portrayed them imo did an amazing job. They mixed funny/awkward/brilliant all into one
Kate. Has nothing to do with her being gorgeous. Nothing at all.
Locke has to be the coolest. Desmond with the time travel stuff is a close second.
I always liked Desmond.
On the flip side, I was glad to see Josh Holloway in Ghost Protocol for a cameo role and Evangeline Lilly in Real Steal (AKA Rock'em Sock'em Robots).
It's got to be hard for many actors to find a new path after such a long running show without being typecasted.
I'm loving your favourite character responses, it's amazing how a show has so many awesome characters, that is very rare and hard to find
