Hard to believe that it's been 35 years since Elvis died in the crapper and went to hillbilly Heaven at age 42. Im a huge fan (the first concert I ever saw as a kid was the Big E), so his death always will be one of those I remember exactly where I was moments. If hed lived, hed be 77 now. Hard to picture. Whether you like him or not, a guy like that comes once and only once, so rock some Elvis today or watch Bubba Ho Tep (his own movies stink).
I remember I was on the beach with a beautiful blonde listening to the radio when the news came on.

It is definately one of those "I remember exactly where I was" moments. I had just come home from school and my grandmother (of all people) called and was crying about this.
