    Oct 25, 2010 - Dead Set - 2008 UK Zombie Series Debuts in U.S. Tonight! #1

Dead Set is a critically acclaimed BAFTA-nominated horror drama created by English writer Charlie Brooker. The series is set in the Big Brother house, and was first aired on E4 on 27 October 2008. The five episodes, aired over five consecutive nights, chronicle a zombie outbreak that strands the housemates and production staff inside the house, which quickly becomes a shelter from the undead.

It plays over five consecutive nights on IFC beginning tonight, 10/25, and back to back on Halloween day. I'm looking forward to it. Stephen King had this to say, "This send-up of reality TV is bloody, raunchy, grisly fun," and,
"One of the ten best things I saw on TV."

It is coming over the pond... on IFC. It sounds interesting (even if the idea is a bit Diary-esque). Too bad I'll be working.

I wonder if they'll cut the part where they need to use the bucket.

Now that they are showing this on American TV, I hope they release it on Region 1 DVD soon. I've been wanting to own this series for a long time now.

They're showing them all again today. I hadn't watched but the first episode. I spent way too much time at work this week, and my head was ready to hit the pillow by the time I got home. Though I'm planning to watch them all, today and tomorrow. As well as Walking Dead.

Those of you who have been watching, what did you think?

I watched the all online, and thought they were great! Lots and lots of gore. I thought the ending was interesting, how the concept of a survivor-type reality show played out in "real-life" and made a huge difference in the last episode.

Did MTV try to do something like this recently? I thought I saw a commercial that looked like this.
