DC Universe Online

How many of you guys are gonna get it? Supposedly, there's gonna be a $15/Month fee.

I'm probably going to get it just because I'm a big DC fan and I get to see Batman.

I've played around a bit with the Marvel one. Haven't seen the DC yet. I was disappointed with Marvel because they leave huge gaps in series.

nah , i like free ones on marvel but paying is crazy. it would be cool to screen cap some but comics need to be held and read..just me .

I'm gonna get it. I'm not into MMOs, but this and KOTOR have my interest.

The $15/month was a surprise. They wanted to make it free. They also wanted to have PS3/PC crossover, but it looks like they cancelled that too.

I know this is an old topic, but DC Universe is now free to play online and download from their site. They just added over 1 million new members to the site, so if anyone here wants to try it out, now's the time.

Thanks for sharing. Wanted to try this out but hated shelling for the game if it wasn't going to be something I wanted to play!

I'd love to try it just for Joker and Harley but I'm pretty sure my PC can't handle it.

I was paying for it, but stopped playing a while ago.

From what I understand, I'm now classified as a Premium player, so I get to keep up to 4 of my characters (or maybe 6)

I need to get back into it soon.

What I don't like about these types of games is that I already payed "x" amount of dollars, Why should I have to pay a monthly fee of "y", I mean at least Xbox live allows me to play most of my games that have online support without some ridiculous monthly fee crap. (Other than Xbox live, of course.)

As this states, it is now free to play.

Sony announced back in October it was going to be a free download and free to play. You just pay for extra content, I believe.
