One thing that really impressed me was Banes voice. It was really eerie but just suited the character perfectly. Really impressive.
Ditto. I was wondering how much I'd like Bane as a villain and it worked really well. Batman Begins and the Dark Knight had some great hand-to-hand fight scenes but none that made me feel like Batman had to lay it all on the line to win. Every time he fought Bane though, I felt like it was no-holds-barred, y'know?
Sort of like how in the Amazing Spider-Man, I felt like I finally saw Spidey fighting exactly how he does in the comics. This was like that for me - it was cool seeing Batman finally go toe-to-toe with somebody that could stand up to him physically.
And as a side note, the Bat vehicle visually reminds me of a stinkbug so every time I see it, I want to call "the stinkbug" instead of "the bat."![]()
Exactly how I felt. I could just about feel every hit Bane threw at him.In the previous 2 it was like he didn't have to try but in this he really busts his balls and you really feel for him and once he finally got it together I was ready to fist pump the air. You could hear people in the cinema going 'YEAH'.Like you said it was the same for me with Spiderman as well. At the end of this film everybody in the cinema clapped and cheered which is something I haven't experienced in a while.

Does Bane ever get into kind of a berzerker mode or anything close to an increase in strength because of the "venom"? I'm looking for like a noticeable difference we see on camera.
In many of the reviews, Bane's voice is either 'unintelligable under the mask' or 'pushed forward so far in the mix the background noise disappears'
Gotta love the critics![]()
All right, gents...remember do not perform any Fred Willard impersonations at the premiere tonight!![]()
I'm counting down!! I'm gonna have to get there like 2 hours early to get a good seat.
Yeah, right there with you. Can't wait, and I know I will need to be there no later than 2hrs ahead of time. I went ahead and bought tickets for Saturday night too.
Well, in Willard's defense...his next film is the Yank.
Bazinga!

Just got to work after the 5am showing over here, for some reason we had to wait till Midnight east coast time to watch it in the UK. WORTH IT THOUGH.
Another cinema did Begins and TDK, once I got out of there at midnight I knew I had to wake up to see it at 5am, ha. Was really good, my only minor pitiful grievance is that I would have liked to see more shots of catwoman, she was looking hot! And they didn't show the Man of Steel trailer which was meant to come?
I'M BATMAN!
Just got back...and WOW.
I have no words, I'm still processing it all, but DAMN can Nolan tell a story!
After it ended, I let out a nerdy "Squeeeeeeeeee!" That's the closest thing I've had to words so far.

Hey question about a specific scene:Spoiler:
Just heard that a gunman opened fire in a theatre in Denver and killed 10. Jesus Christ!
I hope everyone here's OK and may the ones who were taken RIP.

shooting at batman premier | Herald Sun
14 killed and 50 wounded in Colorado. Gunman captured.
Just got back from it with a BB and TDK showing beforehand. Awesome. Not holy crap I need to change my shorts like TDK was, but very satisfying for the third installment.
I love that Bane actually broke his back. It was also great to see nods to the "born in prison" origin before the reveal, I wasn't expecting that. I'm sure anyone who's familiar with Knightfall and No Man's Land appreciated all the related story beats.
Was laughing my ass off during the funeral scene, having connected the dots. Not sure how many others in the theatre had but that's okay. I'm happy to see that ending, and it's consistent with the talk through all the movies of when Gotham no longer needed Batman and Bruce having something more to live for.
SP Bane breaks Bat's back as in the comics, glad to hear that these is a similarity to the story. Although this Bane in the movie is very slim comparing to the Bane character from the comics
