During the targeting sequence did anyone else catch the Fantastic Four tower in NYC being targeted?

During their first mission, his shield was stealth coated. I.e they put some kind of coating that covered the red on the shield. The movie poster where you see tiny chunks of red on it, is the coating coming off and revealing the red. All that happened after the first mission was they peeled off the coating.

My only gripe is Scarlett...She can't act Black Widow worth a damn even after 3 movies. The no russian accent is killing it for me.

Give it up, man. Didn't you learn your lesson in the Black Widow thread? You complain about an accent that she's not supposed to have, you complain that Johasson doesn't do her own stunts - but you've been shown she does and then you come up with some weird reply that Google doesn't offer proof despite linking you to proof. So far, you're the only one complaining about her - and her award winning acting skills (not saying she deserves an award for this movie - but, the chick has chops and has proven more than capable).

Well said. The only thing I might add is that she looks fine as hell in costume. ALL of them.

#1 in the box office 3 weekends in a row, might be 4 in a row domestic considering the competition this weekend, and then ASM2 comes out. $700M worldwide is definitely within reach.

Um, she's Russian, even in the comics it's indicated she has an accent.......Just my opinion but I think the character would've been done better if that chick from Resident Evil played her. She's got the face and body for it and does all of her own stunts.

She's a spy... spies have to be able to speak in different languages and dialects. See how easy I retconned that problem.
I think she's perfect for the role. Milla Jovavich would be meh for that role since she's pretty well established herself as a B-ish actress

Yeah, but Wolverine is supposed to be Canadian and about 5 ft 4.

Seriously, over in the Black Widow thread this has already been debunked to death. Scarlett does her own stunts (which he denies despite statements from the director and video). The idea that Widow having no accent is lost on him and this is most likely a decision by the filmmakers and not Scarlett - just ignored.

As far as other characters, well... it's been stated Hugh Jackman will cut back on doing his own stunts (which again, he denies despite linking to multiple stories about it - because, ya know Google is unreliable). Jackman not being the correct height or not Canadian are just ignored...

I love Milla Jovovich, she's beautiful. But she is NOT built the way Black Widow has ALWAYS been drawn (i.e., CURVY). And umm, Milla does NOT do ALL of her own stunts. Oh look, a photo of Milla with one of her stunt-doubles. And I say "one of" because Milla herself refers to the "girlS" doubling for her (see highlights):

Milla Jovavich is definitly not curvy. She's built more like a boy. It only took a thin bandage to cover up her naughty parts in Fifth Element.

I don't think it has ever been established that the movies ARE the Ultimate Universe. They are just used as a basis. There is lots of stuff in the movies that is not Ultimate.
