My name is Janet. I'm new to this forum. I'm from near Chicago and will be attending Chicago C2E2 in April. This will be my first C2E2. I was hoping to talk to a few people who have been and hope to meet some.
getting set to head there now-- its 1130 in chitown. will be there around 2-3 this afternoon carrying Thunderstrike!!!!! if you see me stop and say Hi-- will be sporting a Hunters Lair shirt as well.
just got back-- feel like I wasted $35 to get in-- wasnt impressed at all
I was there all 3 days as The Punisher from Warzone and had a blast.

I didn't want to leave, wish it was longer =] Can't wait til next year.
In the mean time, if any of you know of any cons in the midwestern area,

Chicago Comic-con is in August. It used to be Wizard World. However, it is much more an entertainment show now, and I hear it's not all that great (never been myself).

I was there on Saturday and had an incredible time. So much better than Wizard World.
It's been more and more like a flea market with the occasional A-List guest and a lot of has beens. Last year was a cluster**** with the organization and crowd control for the panels. Particularly with the lines for the Felicia Day and Bruce Campbell panels that were forming and with the crowd leaving the Patrick Stewart panel AT THE SAME TIME.Boogeyman13 said:
