Anyone watch the premiere last night? I was impressed. Charlie Sheen is still funny and apparently a viable actor. I thought the humor was on par with Two and a Half Men and that overall it was very entertaining.

It's amazing though that he was able to recover from his 'winning streak'.

    Thoughts?

Amazing what make-up can do. Just saw an interview with him the other day and he still looks like death.

I laughed. The first few seconds of the show was a great little jab at CBS/Two and a Half Men.

Definitely wasn't the train wreck I kept expecting it to be.

I watched it and it was OK. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I stuck around for the second episode and I'll catch it next week and see if it sticks with me. I agree that he seems to have aged a lot in recent months.

Oh, off topic, but has anyone else noticed that his nose angles to his right? Once I noticed that a few months ago I can't un-see it now. Takes me out of the story.

I think he detoxed and had a breakdown after the "winning" and now he's doing better. He even has been trying to make amends with folks. I forgot this was even on, i'll have to keep an eye out for it. He needs to make another Hot Shots.

I only got about half way through because I had to leave, so far though I laughed a whole lot more then I thought I would.

I had it on while I was doing some work on the computer. I liked the parts I paid attention to. I could not tell if the woman he was having a fake date with also played Trudy Weigel on "Reno 911".

I think what I liked most was the subtle humor playing on his so called 'winning' streak. He's an anger management counselor who has an anger management counselor himself!! Oh the irony!!

I wonder if John Cryer will ever have a cameo for 'old times sake'?

I doubt it... Sheen called Cryer a traitor after Sheen was fired, really dumped on the guy. Cryer managed the situation with class, in my opinion, especially his response to Sheen calling Cryer a Troll:

The first two episodes weren't bad, but they weren't great either; better than most current sitcoms, but not by much. I'll need to see 2 or 3 more before I decide whether or not it's worth the time.

You may want to rephrase that to "on par with the OLD Two and a Half Men". Because just about anything can be better than the NEW Two and a Half Men with Dinglenuts.

I thought it was pretty good. But I was distracted by my computer during some parts. What was with the older naked woman on his countertop?

That was implied but I fully agree.
