The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
I'm a film student at NYU, and in class today the SVP of Production at AMC came in to speak to us. He handed out many promotional items to my classmates, including hats and seasons of Breaking Bad and Mad Men.
He asked if anyone wanted a screen-used flashlight from The Walking Dead, so I raised my hand. I've never seen the show and know little to nothing about it. Could anyone tell me if this could be, in fact, a screen used flashlight? I've attached a picture below.

Re: The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
Very nice that it came directly from the SVP of Production at AMC, I guess there would be no reason to doubt it's authenticity.
Probably just a background item or piece of set dressing, but very cool |

Re: The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
Could be from one of the Deputy's in the opening scene of the series. I don't think it's from Rick as he likes the basket weave gear. I'll re watch and see if I can find it.
Also out of curiosity, what does it say on the side of the torch? Last edited by epilepticsquirl; 12-08-2011 at 04:38 PM. |

Re: The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
It says AMC The Walking Dead. I'm assuming if it was used in the show, either it was masked during shooting or only a set piece. Any thoughts?

Also there's a series of numbers on the other side: 6230-01-574...

When I typed the numbers into Google, this is what came up.

Re: The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
No matter. It's still the best flashlight I've ever owned. Quite bright, and it appears to be very durable! I say this thread is closed. Thanks, guys!

Re: The Walking Dead Screen Used Flashlight
If I had to guess I'd say that would be Shane's torch given he is the type of character to have that strapped to his belt or in his pocket.
