stargate red clamps

Anyone know if the clamps that held the stargate at the SGC have ever been offerd for sale. I havn't seen them for sale by propworx and legends have never had them.

I am forwarding your question to the Propworx Stargate specialists... if anyone knows they will - they were personally at the set for removal of the props and set dec, so they are the best source for info.

If memory serves they were made from the mop wringers you see in every janitors closet.

This is Jarrod form propworx, they were kept by production, I think they were destroyed cause they were in horrible shape

Yea, I think there was one, maybe two that came to us with a gate segment, but there were not complete and busted to hell. It is funny how there were made form mop buckets and eye wash stations though, I never noticed it until i saw one up close, very clever.
