Cool. I'm originally from Edmonton so next time I visit family up there I'll be sure to check it out. The psych theme behind the exhibit is kinda cool too (my background is neuroscience).
And to answer your question, because Edmonton is the best!
I might wander over and check it out at some point once it's open since it's like 10min from my house.
