I'd love one set of this armor
Does this mean other Helmets will be now sub par compared to this helmet?
And the armor will be "the" one to get.

Well, other helmets mostly come from the Brian R helmet, which has a softer back and cap. There are also helmets from the Dave M helmet, which is a sharper helmet, but wasn't molded from the inside. I think only the more cleaned up helmets will less than this... but they kinda already were lower than the more true to accurate ones.Sixxgunn13 said:

Depending on the level of unaltered looks to the casts, this would certainly be top of the line.
The armor will be unsurpassed. Imo, not much would be close.
While the helmet is nice, this really is the star. Everything to date has been RotJ reworked to ANH... but to have ACTUAL ANH... wow... just wow. Unsurpassed is definitely the right word.Too Much Garlic said:

I couldn't agree more on all points on helmet and armour but I don't want to get too carried away. SiMan hasn't mentioned armour and to date he has only mentioned a hero style helmet made from the background helmet.
I am super excited at even the chance to possibly get a copy (or three) of the background helmet untouched at some point but I don't want to jump the gun and get my hopes up on the armour.
If it hapens it happens.
Just seeing the armour and helmet has been a big bonus for trooper nuts anything more will obviously be superb.

The armour would be fantastic, but for me, the most impotant item is this new helmet. As long as there is nothing changed on the molds that is.
I hope the plastic used will be quite thin too, so all the details are there. Thin styrene would be great, as the replicas will need to be painted anyway to be accurate.
Also, have you thought about having some HDPE custom made SiMan seeing as you have an original helmet to colour match it to?

Definetly THE coolest thing on the scene in ages. The armor is what I really want to see cast as well as the helmet. If the helmet is unaltered once cast it will definetly be something to behold. I will love this helmet for what it is and will also love the other helmets I own for what they are too.How awsome will it be to have a copy of this helmet,a copy of the BrianR helmet and a copy of the SFS helmet all sitting next to each other on a shelf. Awsome I recon.

We are in the process of casting the suit and these will follow shortly after the release of the First run of helmets.

more idealised version of your lid stunt/background bubble lenses would look odd but if you mean a hero version then that would be ok
