Sorry to be the spelling police, but you might want to check the spelling of "Oblivion" in your title.
    Thanks for posting the pictures.

Reminds me of the flight suits from the original Planet of the Apes.

Hmm, you know, not sure... May be something to ask the Propstore guys about if you're interested - they may know...

I hate to ask this, but what does this ship need with a tail rotor?
    Still, cool design.

Really looking forward to this movie coming out, as well as Will Smith's After Earth.

Looks like it was made by Apple.

I CANNOT wait for this movie. Looks sick. Also can't wait to see people making replicas of the guns as they look pretty awesome.

I love the design of the gun, too! Seen the movie just yesterday.

Here is the link to the guy who did the paper-model (there's also a download)
    paperhobby: Rifle from "Oblivion" 1:1

Will the paper-model be a good starting point for doing the rifle?

I enjoyed the movie. Saw it in IMAX yesterday. See it on the big screen if you get a chance.

Anyone recognize what type of knife he used in the movie? You only see it one time, but it's a white pocketknife of some sort.

Loved the subtle difference in the jackets worn by the two different Jacks.
The "skytower" Jack had a blue Tet emblem and number while the desert/land/mountain Jack had yellow.

Cool thread. I'm interested in making or buying a jacket like the one Jack wore in the movie. Not the leather "dream sequence" jacket, but the "tech" jacket he wears most of the movie with his number, etc. If Father is right, and there are different versions with different colors, I think I'd prefer the Tech 49 version with the blue logo, etc. Jacket appears grey, perhaps leather, but with some armor built in. DeadMike appears interested, from a post in the rifle thread, abut I didn't see a post dedicated to the jacket. Oh, and I bought the leatherman above after reading about it here. Thanks for sharing!!!
