Need help from Ep 1. Phantom Menace prop / costume gurus

Hi All

I have a prop "hand" from The Phantom Menace. I was told originally it was made for a Duros species pod racer - but there wasnt one in the film - oops

Anyhow - I dont have a pic but will take one when I get home - BUT -

It is a small Green Alien hand, that ISNT a Rodan type -

Any other aliens with Green hands in the film that anyone can think of?

I know Wald had hands that weren't very rodian (no long fingers).

Also there are a number of species that are green in episode 1 (can't remeber there names).

I bought this prop on ebay:

Original production Duros's right hand from The Phantom menace.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999), Production Duros right hand, original / screen-used

I think that is use for a people from Mos Espa but I don't found it. Can you help me?

I'm pretty sure Duros was a cantina alien from Star Wars, not Ep1.

Well Duros is a "species" originally shown in episode 4 and not a "character."

I'm not sure, however, if Duros were in Episode 1.

Neimodiens aren't Duros (different hand, eyes...)

Duros was a character in the cantina (ANH) and the COA say that is a hand of a Duros from Phantom Menace.

I think that Lucas want a lot of different peoples in Mos Espa city and he use a Duros man. I never think this. But I never see this.

Nemodians are related to Duros, but that is getting off topic.

For the authenticity of this, I would contact the old owner and get info on how he got the hand. The back story can help with the authenticity.

I sold this hand on ebay, and I know who I got it from, and he got it from a crew member - And I think, at the time - They were still considered Duros - And it changed to Neim.

In ANH the Duros hands were pretty bony looking. Skinny fingers with gnarled knuckles.

By looking at this illustration...

The prop hand looks pretty Duros'y to me.

It's possible that Neimodiens look like Duros and a crew member worked on a hand (duros) for neimodiens costume.
