My Grail Stargate prop acquired from Propworx

Firstly can I say I'm not interested in the Propworx Bankruptcy situation so if you want to slag them off use the other threads and not mine please.
After losing out on buying a complete Stargate section in their live auctions I thought I would never get a piece of my Grail prop. Then a few months ago Propworx listed two sections of the original movie gate, a back panel and a front top ring panel, which I bid on and won. Alec was very nice and gave me a couple of months to save for the shipping cost. The panel arrived yesterday and looks great I paid $811 for the panel but with the shipping and import fees to the UK the final bill came to $1892 so I would just like to say a big thanks to Alec and my wife who paid for it, lots of romantic meals for the next few years

How did you Guess I'm aiming for a gate section about 8' high like this
I have the Chevrons and the wings, and also a mold from a continuum lower ring piece that I can lengthen. The Glyph track is easy as its a flat panel with etched lines and cut out Glyphs. Just need to save for the supplies but am also thinking of a run of gate sections like this, framed with artwork and maybe amber LED's around the edge.

Boy, am I looking forward to THAT build !

Tell her its going to go in the attic.

Then plonk one piece on the living room floor - "It's just drying. I'll soon move it". Then another, and another - same reason (it's raining / too windy / too humid outside).

Then assemble it "just to see how it looks - I'll soon take it apart and put it upstairs".

Then install the Chevrons, and accidentally switch them on at the same time when she walks into the room - "Just testing".

A few tests, and she'll tell you not to dare move it !
