I am one lucky guy! (Props borrowed from Renegade Effects)

Hi Guys.

Yesterday, June 9th, we held a convention over at Frank n Son in City of Industry CA call "Jurassic Con"

One of our special guests there was Dragon Dronet from Renegade Effects. He was nice enough to let us display some of his items in his personal collection. I doubt i even need to give you guys a description of the items. there are a few items also that were not pictured. Hopefully i can get those. They include full sets of raptor claws- big claw, toe nails and finger nails, hammond's cain, and JP1 raptor eggs.

damnit i live like 20 minutes from there, didn't know about this exhibit I'll have to check their website more often.

Hopefully we will hold Jurassic Con again next year. This was a first time run for us and everything went pretty well. People were pleasantly surprised with the amount of items that we had, especially for a free show. There were also other items that were displayed such as the Chiodo Brother's various props. They brought down two of the Killer Klowns From Outer Space heads and props from the Land of the Lost TV series. We also Had animation stills from The Land Before Time, and real fossils.

Jedifyfe- I am pretty sure someone like Dragon would not lie about something like the Props he has. These came out of his personal Collection that he keeps in his living room. The Eye of Ra looks very unfinished because that is exactly what it is. I have seen several of the head pieces taken from the mold. As you can imagine, they take some work to get them into prestine condition. Also, the Hat, whip and Idol were used for the stunt work. They didnt have to be fully detailed as they wouldn't have extreme close ups on them.

The Indy stuff is all incorrect. Replicas, mostly. The whip looks like it was bought in a Halloween shop.

Ok guys my bad. I missed a line where i was going to type, "some things are screen used, and some are recast from molds."

I made an honest mistake in writing that in the description at the top and forgot that part. After you post in several forums, you tend to forget what you wrote. I posted in the screen used section because yes, some things are screen used, and some aren't. and some are prototypes but never made it to the screen, probably the scorpion king stuff.

I am going to have this thread removed because i have a feeling its going to just become a nightmare to try to explain everything. I don't want it reflecting on anyone badly and it was due to misinformation on my part.

Regardless of the tension/confusion/fuss thats kicked up i enjoyed seeing the pictures. Thanks for uploading them.

Wrong. Since I own a production Headpiece I know what I am talking about.

The frown idol was NEVER used for stunts. It was made after production. Also the "stunt" idol was made from foam.

The dude is lying to you or just has no clue what he is talking about.

And I hope no one told you that pulse rifle was screen used cause you can see that its a ICONS pulse rifle, the logo stamp is clear on the bottom of the ammo magazine
