Hunger games: peacekeeper helmet question

Does anyone out there have one of the hunger games peacekeeper helmets from the auction?

Didn't manage to win one, was thinking of making a replica...are there any clues to what they used/made the helmets from?

Thanks in advance.

Hello! I actually won one of the auctions with a helmet and the chest armor and decided to join today with pictures and a link to the helmet. Fortunately, when I got the helmet in the mail, the actual box from the company was inside so I was able to get the exact color and model. :)

That's the link and the helmets they used are in Pearl White.

EDIT: It looks like that link says they only sell to dealers or something. If you just search HCI-100 you can get them on other sites:

That's great! Just what I wanted to know!

So, they added the crest on the top!

Would you be willing to post some measurements/photos?

In particular, I'd like to know:

How wide is the big black stripe? How wide is the 'panem' circular logo?

How long is the crest? How wide at the front? Back? How tallvat it's highest point?

It seems right at the rearend, the crest widens out ...how far from the rear of the crest does the wide area start?

Thanks in advance,

ham

PS.All the uniforms I got were a men's medium or small...TOO SMALL! How did you make out?

DSC_1267.JPG Black stripe: 2 6/8 inches wide
DSC_1268.JPG Panem logo: 1 7/8 inches diameter.

DSC_1261.JPGDSC_1277.JPG I think this is what was meant by the crest! 4" long. (Measured along top curve)
DSC_1269.JPG The flat top of the curve/the front of the crest is approximately 1/4 inch wide.
DSC_1265.JPG Back: About 2 inches wide.
DSC_1273.JPG Height: 5/8" tall.

DSC_1283.JPG I showed this so you could get an idea of the curve/approximately where it curves in.

Misc. Other photos that might help with the shape of the crest/the logo.

Unfortunately I didn't get one of the uniforms. I saved all the photos from the auction and would like to sew one myself one day.

Hope these help! If you need anymore measurements/photos feel free to ask :)

Yes, it DOES help:my guesses as to scale were WAY off!

well, I'll tell you what:

I got extra ones...send me an e-mail and if you want one, you can have it for what I paid.

I bought more than one because they didn't list size, and I kept hoping to get one I could wear.

Bear in mind...SMALL!

The biggest is about a men's medium, if you wear bigger than about a size 36 pants, or a size 38 jacket, it's not going on you.

I have one of these costumes available, shirt and pants with a pair of gloves.

How big are yours? All mine are TINY

If you are interested in a shok stick replica, or making a helmet replica, I have a methodology worked out...just made a deal for a shok stick, would make them for others if there is interest.

I have just finished the second of my two helmet replicas with the addition of the vinyl decals I had made from Photoshopped graphics Thanks very much to Sroppelt for her essential photos which made accuracy easy.

I'm interested in one of the helmets and one of the shock sticks. Can you post pictures and prices?

ALIENSARCHIVE - would you be willing to sell the gloves separately? If so, how much?

I won the last sets of boots, pants and jacket they had on eBay. I cleaned off the dirt and straw/grass from the bottom of the boots and placed it in a clear plastic container labeled DISTRICT 12 Dirt. One of my boots is 10.5, the other is 11.5ee. I called themeparkconnections and they said they got approximately 40 pairs of boots from the studio and were likely mismatched before they got them. If anyone has a mismatched pair or knows anyone who has a mismatched pair that matches mine please contact me and let's work out a trade. The pants I have measure approximately 38.5" long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the ankle cuff. I was sniped for a vest.

.

Well, actually I'm not really in the business of selling things...If you have a couple of people that want a shock stick, and are willing to go in on the cost of tooling, I'll make some.

As for the helmet, it looks like the photos already posted. They sell the HCI 100 helmet on ebay, I can point out the correct visor . As to the crest, I only made 2 of them, but I might make a mould for more if there is interest....

I'm interested in both. Is there a list started that I can join?

Just checked eBay and found the helmets. The visor is the smoked version, I assume, as opposed to the mirror or clear.
