I was most excited by the DRD! I've wanted to make one since the first time I saw farscape.

Anyway, enjoy the photo gallery. Drop by and take your own pictures. The Jim Henson exhibit is amazing.

If you see a show, you can tour the museum for free. The adult shows can be quite hilarious.

Some of these photos are terrible. I didn't have my good camera.

These pictures made my morning. I have passed by this place several times while in Atlanta and just never went in. The wife and I are definitely gonna have to stop in next time.

It was a fairly recent rule change. There are still "no photography" signs, but if you ask the staff, they'll tell you it's just "no flash".

One of the Muppets is on display as you come up the escalator in the E (old international) Concourse at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

Yeah, I was told the same No Photography thing as well. Great exhibit, though. The Dark Crystal Skeksis and it's sword are AMAZING to see up close.

We used to go here all the time for field trips back in school. The Skesis still creeps me out, no matter how many times I see it. The performances are top notch and they also have workshops as well; it is definitely worth a visit if you are in Atlanta.

I'm gonna try and get there when I come down for Dragoncon this year. I've got to get some measurments off that DRD...

I was up there 2 yrs ago and was lucky enough to meet a great puppeteer. He gave us a full tour of the Center and also took us upstairs into the store room where they have a full Mystic from Dark Crystal and I got to Jim Hensons Mr. Fox puppet from Emmitt Otters Jug Band Christmas......
