Ah....... more banal posts (that don't even contain words!) just to bolster ones post count
They have removed the photos and changed the description to this :
" This multi-colored “alien mask” in “Hieroglyphic” designs is covered throughout with faux-metal bolting. It is painted gold and silver, complete with green reptilian skin, striking two-toned blue eyes, and “diable” type horns jutting out the sides. A “utility mask” created by the prop department of the “Stargate” TV franchise. This a true attention getter and a true work of art. Although this mask was made by the “Stargate” prop department, it most likely was not actually used in one of the episodes. (Measures approx. 14 1/2"x14"x17") "
Link in OP doesn't work any more.
New Link here.
lol, I'm trying to picture what "diable" horns are
So it's a Stargate mask, but not from Stargate. Sweet. Just the attention grabbing shelf piece I was looking for.
".....most likely was not actually used in one of the episodes". The research they have put into the background of this piece fills me with confidence.
They are referring to the double 'horns' sticking out of the sides of the eye-covers I suppose
Using fancy words to jazz up the sale of an item whose origin is unknown

I've been pushing PP to provide any kind of provenance for this mystery alien mask, but they are unable to and are relying on their consignor's word. Here's the actual reply:
At this time the consignor has not provided a letter since he is out of town. This consignor will not be able to provide a name as it has been a while since he purchased it and does not recall. We have worked with this person for many years and have not had any issues with the sale of items from his collection.
