Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

The same in white...

Sorry for bad quality, found it on the web...

Last but not least:

Hey, THAT business card (the bottom one) looks familiar...I made that one! *lol* Haven't seen it in a long, long time...glad to see it's still floating around out there. *lol* My little "contribution" to the RPF archives, I suppose. *lol* I've always felt a bit silly for getting the phone number wrong, though....I had forgotten that the number is actually shown in the movie, in their tv commercial.
As for the fax number, I just used the keypad letters on the phone that correspond to the first letter of each name...Egon (3), Peter (7), Raymond (7) and Winston (9)....it was the best I could come up with. *lol*

Really? :) Dont know that, I collect some paper props over the years and always have some stuff on my computer...

You made a card from gb2, too?
Ive got a GB2 Buisness card with the same number. They got a different number in the second movie (555-2020)...

But maybe there is someone who copy your card and just add the GB2 Logo on it...

I didn't make one from GB2, no....but when I made the card for GB1, I just posted a picture of it in the forum for anyone to have just as a free paper prop.
Last I heard about it, someone had changed the names and put their own names and numbers on the card, and were dressed up as Ghostbusters, passing the cards out at a Comicon a while back.. *lol* I got a kick out of that. :lol

Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

OK, this one is my own creation, made from a screen cap from the film. FREE to all who want it. Enjoy.

Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

Since there was some controversy over my first OMNI cover, I have completely redone it so as not to step on any toes. Here is my version, not 100% correct, but close enough, enjoy.

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

Whats up with the other newspapers and magazines shown in the movie...

Is it possible to make some nice props from Blu Ray Screenshots?!?

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

The Omni cover and the Time cover are up in the Paper Props Thread #3(somewhere....)

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

Yeah I know... Is it possible to get any sharper pics?!? Or the Newspapers? Ghostbusters Diet? :lol

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

For reference, the phone numbers in the movies are as follows:

GB1: 555-2368
GB2: 555-2020 (listed on the Ecto-1a as "JL5-2020")

Just in case you ever update that business card =) Great stuff in this thread so far!

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

I'd like to add some additional details to the invoice sheets (or like to see it done). The new game has a pretty funny scene referencing one of their (many) invoices and the fine print. I plan to play through the game again and I'll try to get the exact text from that. Add some funny double-speak fine print, make some different invoices for different elements of the job and so on.

I'd also like a Louis Tully business card and maybe a matchbook or something from the hotel in GB1. Or a paper proving you are an official contractor for the state or maybe a franchisee license or certificate. I personally like the idea of a corny "This certificate affirms these are REAL Ghostbusters" framed document, complete with a shot of Venkman giving the thumbs up or something.

I have no photoshop skills and I'll be shoving off to the po-lice academy shortly, so it's unlikely I'll get to actually do any of that. But still... if anyone's interested, there's a few ideas.

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

I was just thinking about Ghostbusters paper props last night... like the "Maid Service Please" door hanger from the beginning of the film. Does anyone have good screencaps/replica of that?

Crank up the design software!!(I'll note that there's a watermark on both sides of this original so we could keep track of the art).

Get the file to me, and I can get these printed on plastic!

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS PAPER PROP

Yep, I know, hence the 'get out the Photoshop!' :lol Oh, and PM sent to you about Vigo . . .

AJ has been out of stock on the cards for eons. I'm tempted to: a) buy a Blu-ray b) buy GB BR c) make my own. Expensive proposition, I think I'll wait to see what the tax man sends back.

ahhh... i didn't know he was out. i just remembered seeing them on his site a while back. YEARS ago, someone on RPF was selling a set of zener cards that was supposedly production-used... they differed a bit from what is seen on screen, though. zener cards would be GREAT to carry around in a GB suit, haha!

...and if anyone offers accurate maid cards, i'm 100% in.
