Back to the Future

I try to download the page 77a of the google books "popular science monthly november 1947" but I can't ... If someone knows how to download this page ...

Do you mean this one (I also posted 78a because that's the one seen in the movie)

Alors pour dénicher les autres objets, il se fait un réseau en s'inscrivant sur les forums.
Then to find new items, he creates a network by registering on Forums.

Son ambition serait de se faire remarquer pour, pourquoi pas, monter une exposition.
His ambition would be to get noticed for, why not, to go up an exhibition.

Exhibiting items made on order by others? I feel very sorry for him. He has got to have a mental sickness.
Hopefully all BTTF fans from France are not like him! :lol

I did not see it at the first look but they give his full name, email and cellphone number...
(Hervé Hermentier, 06 67 01 26 19, herve.hermentier@orange.fr). Orange is his internet provider.

I was able to dig out another sticker for Marty's Valterra skateboard. This is the circular "Madrid" that sits above the bottom truck. I'll keep an eye open for the horizontal stretch Madrid logo for the top of the skateboard.

I noticed that when he called me a "miserable buffoon" on Facebook. You can see his design wishes every time when I wrote "Upon special request" in my postings.

Sometimes I'm simply too friendly.....

After that I unfriended him on Facebook and here.

No it's true, I used photoshop and Paint.net for the border, background and the amount, but it was all brought together in powerpoint. I find it really easy, I just make a background image out of reference shots and I fit all the text and graphic over it, then I export it all as a PNG file.
Here's the file : Zippyshare.com - check.pptx

I would have done it in Illustrator because drawing all the small lines either in the background or the border would have make me sick very quickly. lol
I would have drown may be 12 lines of the back ground then asked the software to copy them X times with a move of X mm on the right, then copy all of this X time down. ET voilà, the background is done. ;)

I don't know neither paint.net nor Powerpoint. Does Paint.net offers replicating function or did you had to draw every line of the border?

Whatever, that is still a nice work.
I'll try do one too.

Based on dhennick99's scan I threw this together. The fonts aren't perfect, so I'll probably take another pass at this if I can find better matches.

Today I present you my version of the "Blast from the Past" bag. If you have the accurate foil or just want to print it on paper, you can use now my PDFs. The logo and the shape of the bag are vectorized. The bag has the correct size, so you need to use larger paper or foil such as A3 or US-Tabloid. I made two versions: one with a blank background and one with colored background that simulates an iridescent foil.

How to use it? Print out two copies of the PDF. First copy cut away the black AND the gray border. Second copy cut away just the black border and use the gray border to stick both copies together. Good luck! ;)

Below the example pictures you will find the PDFs.

Enjoy it! :)

Thanks Roland, those look great.

I'm was wondering, with most of the main/visible props taken care of, and a lot of the background props being worked on, will there be a time when we actually run out of prop ideas for BTTF?:cry:lol

Great work on the logo Roland! It's just perfect. I'll just throw away my half finished vector logo and use yours instead ;-). You were working on the blue receipt to, no? If it has the same quality as the bag, that would also be a great addition to this thread!

And guys: keep your eyes open for l**sers that are selling all this nice work on the bay!
