    Sep 28, 2010, 7:13 PM - WW2 Captain America Jacket #1

Hey I stumbled onto this website while looking into making a costume of the world war 2 Captain America from The Ultimates comic book. I saw some on here and the looked amazing but I have no idea how to go about getting a jacket that looks like it. I have searched all over the internet and cant find one anywhere. If someone could please help me out or give me some ideas on how to get a jacket that looks like it, I would highly appreciate it. Thanks

if you want a jacket like that, you can either

    - custom make one from scratch, so youd have to get a pattern thats close to what you're looking for.... modify the pattern, buy material and sew it together.....

    - pay someone to make it for you...

    - buy something thats close and modify it....add the stripes, star ect....

it all depends on the skills, money, and time you have....

If you click the photo it takes you to Indy's site, Magnoli Clothiers. Looks like it's a custom jacket he made for a customer.

Yes, we've made these in both leather and cotton canvas for customers. Here are the prices:

Cotton Canvas (as shown above): $450
    Goatskin (medium weight leather): $595
    Cowhide (heavy weight leather): $750

Here is a goatskin version we made for someone:

We can also add distressing for no additional cost.

Shipping is included in the price. Feel free to e-mail me for more info.

    Kind regards,
    Indy
