Hello Everyone,

Note:
If you're new to Foam building in regards to creating Costumes such as IRON MAN, War Machine Etc. Please take some time and follow these tutorials I had created to help you understand the concept.

First and foremost:
I Just want to thank JUICE for the Awesome WAR MACHINE Pepakura files he created a while back.

A lot of people asked me to release the Foam modifications to these files as well after modding Robo3687's MARK IV/VI files.

Now you and a friend can be the Famous Duo from IRON MAN 2

I've merged all the little detail pieces and created smooth surfaces as the way the part look on the actual armor the best I could

Each part is only a few pages keeping it "green" and cost effective and all you need to do is Flip the part to create to other side of the section (Chest or back for example) or flip the pieces on the template to create the entire counterpart (shoulder/Bicep for example)

j0wE - I had made these up a while back and had forgotten to post them up. This is how I make the hand files for my suits. Its really easy. just go letter to letter. Remember everyone's hand is different so don't hesitate on modding to fit you perfectly. Just go letter to letter and you should be done in no time. They are already in letter format. As soon as I know what size A4 paper is I will upload the A4 files for our friends across the pond. The main glove is NOT pepakura, just image files already scaled to most people. The fingers are a .pdo for pep viewer or designer.

Thank you! I was thinking of trying my first foam build after the Taun Taun is completed and this was the exact costume I was considering.

I can't wait for all the files, I'd love to help out modding but this will also be my first pep attempt as well so I'm not sure that I have anything to offer.

Is the WM armor supposed to be a little oversized for effect? Unlinke IM armor that seems to be more tightly fit

Yes it is. Think of WM as more of a tank, heavy weaponry. Not quite a Hulkbuster, but bigger than most IM suits.

And thanks to Stealth for these files. I was modding Robo's WM files, but yours look more efficient. I still had a bunch of little pieces. Which means I still have a lot to learn

Thank you Mycho...I was a little worried because I did my first pep of WM helmet and it's actually a little big (about 2" of space in the back of the head) and I was hoping that oversizing of that amount wouldn't be an issue...Thanks again

Where did you get the 1/4" foam you are using? I can only find the stuff in 9x12 sheets and that makes it more difficult to cut larger pieces.

I bought a big sheet 6'x9' at Sports Authority for $20 or 30. Harbor Freight also has a set of 4 mats of 25"x25". Has a coupon here for $7 per 4-pack.

I just bought those same ones at Harbor Freight today, really good deal but they are 1/2". I am having no luck finding anything thinner, any tips?

Try a local upholstery place, they use the thinner closed cell foam(EVA) for vinyl tops and they might have thicker foam. That's where I am gonna get my foam from now on.

I've been using the 1/2" ones from Harbor Freight, good price on those, but the are too think for some stuff. I might check Sports Authority, there is one down the road. Thanks guys.

@ Stealth Though I've only just started posting I felt inspired by your efforts in modifying pep files for foam. So I've had a crack at a helmet file from Sharkhead-Nobody. Can I send it to you to look over and post?
