Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
It was last Thursday- It was a blast! As usual, too damn much fun in costume! We just blew peoples minds when they walked up and saw us! Even the "cool" teenagers had to have pics with us!

Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
I just want to share some upgrades that wamser_e is graciously working on for me in an effort for the SDCC.
First, he found some great LEDs that provide better light for my eyes and my unibeam/arc reactor. Inside a room, they are much more visible and uniform than what I previously had. ![]() Here is the inside of what he set up. ![]() Instead of some laser barcode scanners that were previously used, he found some model rocket tips that give the missile weapons pod a more "ex-wife" look. ![]() Finally, he provided some sound and animation for my mini-gun. Hi,
loving the suit!!! I dont wanna say anything bad really cos I can only dream of having something like that but it seems a bit unproportional. I guess that is expected, if the suit is wide it also needs to be tall but anyway this is an amazing piece of work! Lucky u to have such an amazing talent

I forgot about my own thread. I had the modifications for 2010 San Diego Comic-con. Here are more samples from my Flickr gallery. For higher resolution images and more pictures, go to my 2010-07-20 to 2010-07-25 - 2010 San Diego Comic-con International Flickr gallery.

Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
For eight years, I have organized pediatric hospital visits for my local 501st garrison. We did one this past Saturday at the Sacramento Sutter Child Life Center.
My thanks and gratitude to the volunteer costumes, photographers and handlers who came out for the pediatric visit. The Sutter staff, pediatric patients and their families, appreciated the volunteer's time and efforts in enriching their lives. Along with Star War characters, one of our garrison members was a Batman (TDK version). Bounty Hunted unveiled his new Captain America suit and I wore my War Machine outfit. Below are some sample pictures from my 2010-10-23 - Child Life Center Visit Flickr gallery.

My local 501st garrison and other costumers paid a visit this past Saturday at the Northern California Shriners Hospital.
My thanks and gratitude to the volunteer costumers, photographers and handlers who came out for the pediatric visit. The Shriners staff, pediatric patients and their families, appreciated the volunteer's time and efforts in enriching their lives. I really appreciated the opportunity for Zen to be Iron Man and for me to be in my War Machine at the same time. Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
LdyDarkStr, Zendragon, Bounty Hunted, myself and some other costumers, appeared at both Sacramento and Roseville, California, A-1 Comics stores to entertain customers for the 2011 Free Comic Book Day along with raising donations for the Northern California Shriners Hospital.
Pictures for the FCBD portion can be found in my 2011-05-07 - 2011 Free Comic Book Day Flickr Gallery. Below are some samples. Sacramento Location A local CBS TV crew covered this location and showed our people in action. They even mentioned our efforts to visit Shriners. You can check out the full story at Indepenant Stores Celebrate Free Comic Book Day story link. Below are some image captures from that story. ![]() Roseville Location ![]()

Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
Doing double duty for the good others, we all visited the Northern California Shriners Hospital on that same day to bring the FCBD experience to pediatric patients and their families. Our photographer is still processing his pictures, but here are some sample pictures (raw and edited).

Re: War Machine (by NAS) "Picture Heavy"
My photographer has provided me with the pictures from our Shriners visit. Before I post any pictures with the pediatric patients and their families, Shriners needs to look them over. In the meantime, I will share some posed shots that we had taken of ourselves in a hallway and outside near their playground. These posed shots can be found in my 2011-05-07 - Marvel Picture Shoot Flickr gallery. Below are some samples.

I work with Sid garrand of the former NAS, now exomechs. I've had his cog armor for over a year, and i've put it through hell and back and it is still holding together awesome! Your nas iron man costume looks really good.
