ITS BEEN AGES!!!!
UPDATED AT THE BOTTOM!!!!
I first off love AC and those time periods... and i've had a soft spot roman style armor as well so the Armor of Brutus from AC is a natural progression with its meld of the two styles.
This Cosplay is being made for myself. I decided that i want it to be as close as i can get to the Games version but ith subtle tweeks to kind of make it my own. In the end you will be able to tell directly it is the AoB from AC. and you will notice differences.
The Armor is all FUNCTIONAL. thats right.. i could take a hit from a sword( slashing NOT thrusting) while still maintaining as much of the mobility as Ezio could have "possibly" had. The weight will be a slight issue as I am a 5'10" 155lbs dude... I expect about 20-30lbs of leather work alone plus the Garments, They will be correct look but not Period correct cloths. as I will be using this mostly outside in the summer months I prefered to use lighter more breathable fabrics.
The Leather work is being done by a very good friend of mine Lance from Cowboy Leather Inc. (no site yet)
(some pics are pre-dyed)
