TRON legacy boblbee backpack...

anyone have any tips? i got a few feet of Scotchlite to try on with a pattern. anyone have any suggestions for other options of glowing tape or other>?

almost done! really like the way it came out so far. need to finish the sides :-) you guys think it would be bad to give this a clear coat? not that it needs it, just curious.

You go with reflective tape?

Hi, yes i went with scotchrite? i think that's what its called. by day its a silvery white, but looks solid and so far testing out at night looks great.

WOW! that looks great! I used Scothlite 3M reflective tape for me 1st Quorra build. That stuff is so bright with no flash photography! You will love it! nice work!

Hi thanks a lot! I was able to get my lady to try it on and give me her best "Tronish" look lol. I can't wait for soulinertia's disc kit. for now, i just photoshopped the light in lol.

i just noticed something about the boblbee that I forgot to mention. the version i using called the megalapolis has a similar hexagon pattern all over the cloth material on the straps and spine. i've been getting a lot of use out of the bag and here's a pic of me using it during the blizzard we just had lol.

i too have a couple bobblbee backpacks -a flat black phantom megaopolis, & a smaller silver sputnik cosmonaut (? - or called something to that effect).

i've heard of others modding their backpacks with lights and installing amateur radio antennas but this is the first i've seen of adding a tron-inspiration to it. what a great idea.

in theory the silver one can be siren-inspired & the black one sam, kevin & quorra inspired. man oh man.

edited to add that i've had my backpacks since 2000. they're very utilitarian, durable & have accessory attachments galore.
