I will try to get some shots of my bodysuit in a week or so. I found some wonderful vinly, nice red, just a litle lighter than the paint color I am using. My seamstress is doing it up in such a way to reinforce it and is stiff enough yet still functional. So far so good. looks like segmented armor. I have her doing up sections for under the arms where that larger open area is gos over the shoulders and down to the mid forearm.

Also have a section at the groin wearable like shorts, and 2 sleve sections for over the knees. This part for the legs will be attached onto the red body suit directly.

I am sure yours will be 1 million times better But if I can contribute some info at all let me know ( like you need any advice from me )

By the way, your going to beat me ! I am not going to finish in time to make the premier :redface . I made a hard call on redoing my hand sections ! Going all in glasfibre now as I am just not happy with the silicone. Dont have your skill on that. So my friend once again you are way far out in the lead !

Hehe, thanks. Well I don't know if I could make anything awesome enough for this costume, I don't know that much about it yet either, but if you ever need an E-11 folding stock to mount on your shoulder or something, just let me know

Need to get a new one up and running ASAP...

Not sure about the details of your data loss, but if you just wiped a hard drive then File Scavenger 3.2 is a great program to recover lost data. Only problem is you have to use one file extension per search. Program works better than three other programs I recently tried. Just don't write onto the damaged hard drive until you've run every search you need.

Aperently they say its totaly dead. I could take it to a pro to try to recover the date but it whould cost me close to 1800 USD.

Man... sorry to hear that. My HP had a harddrive failure about a month ago. I took it to Best Buy (Geek Squad), and they were able to recover all my stuff, but my harddrive was only mostly dead... not all dead. Cost about $300.00 to get a new harddrive and recover the files... they also gave me an external harddrive.

So if your harddrive is only near dead I'd take it to the Geek Squad... see what they can do.

Another trick I've heard of for use to recovering HD's is to stick them in the freezer. Yup. Put it in the freezer for about 30 mins or so, then QUICKLY fire it up and grab data as best you can. Once the HD warms up, it will start the errors again,. and freezer trick works only once.

I make no claim that this will work on your HD, but if it does, I'd like a suit.

That said, I hope you manage to recover everything.

And to think I WAS going to buy a robocop suit. I hope everything works out for you. I have a quick question; what size head will the helmet fit? I have a 7 1/2" bucket myself.

Well the HD is gone. I am now waiting for a replacement. I has a warenty on my computer so they requested the old in return. No turning back for me.


As far as the helmet goes. Well not taken measurements. But the helmet slips straight over your head. You will need a great deal of padding to make it snug.

That's a sad news...
I think they should try to restore your data or destroy your old HD... Because it's illegal for them to keep your data...
