Hello. I like rice. I skipped cereal this morning and had just omelette cheese and oatmeal. Worked out, ran 2.5 miles in 29:00 and having white rice and general Tso chicken...:confused

Nice dragon! Is it from anything or is it just an awesome design? (Totally derailing the thread. You can do it though, we believe in you!)

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I started my fitness journey around the first week of January and I've been having my ups and downs. I'm do a personal challenge to myself called the 90 day challenge, where I take a picture of myself everyday for 90 days and see how the changes go through good eating and working out.

Today was my tricep/shoulders day but I got to teach a friend how to squat properly, it was pretty awesome! (Squats are easily my favorite workout) I'll post pics of my progress soon enough!

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

What happened to this thread? haha I stopped reading most thread on therpf for a month and everything changes!!

I am in for this too!
Wow you guys are doing great!

I have been fighting the good fight for a couple months now. Bouncing and fourth between 195 and 200 lbs for two months.

A lot of that is because for like three weeks I stopped working out three times a week and down to three and stopped running and did elliptical work at a less speed. But I am getting pushing it back up.

Work out at the gym and parkour training.....

I will add update photos later.

Good Job!

:lol Totally random tattoo dude! I was super excited to get a tattoo for $50 at the time. Peer pressure is a mother ****er!:facepalm

Yea. I realized I need to pick up the pace. I should be running for at least thirty minutes and over 2 miles. I think if I cut weight I'll have enough muscle definition since I feel strong:cool

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Tried the lose it app today and it's awesome! I realized though that I'm having a hard time eating the suggested calorie intake. It says I should eat 2400 calories a day but I was only able to down 2100 and that hurt! (I get full extremely easily)

Yeah the calorie per day I don't really use cause I have my own limits set, but what i utilize alot is the food tracking, glad you like it :)

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Thanks for the kind words, more motivation to carry on right there.

Wallcrawler248 I wish you luck on your lottery win ;)

2400 calories a day
My Pizza and beer Saturday night "cheat meal" came to 2741 calories last week :$

If you struggle to get food in then a lot of people suggest that it's easier to drink the calories, usually in the form of full fat milk, 3 pints a day would add 1000 calories to your daily intake.
I've read before about the GOMAD diet for bulking (Gallon Of Milk A Day) but personally I find I have a gradual increase in weight eating around 3000 calories a day, (trying to keep minimal fat gain) and can easily reach that target.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Mix mill and a good protein powder supplement (~300 calories right there).

I currently use Gold standard.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll see which ones I can work in my diet.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

My week 1 pic. Pic not the greatest but I see some difference. Will see how cutting out alcohol and more cardio is working after a few more weeks

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I have a PSA for anybody doing home fitness programs like Insanity, P90X, etc....BE CAREFUL while jumping around doing Plyo stuff for example. Especially if you have carpet. I just had a nasty sprain two nights ago. The swelling finally went down a bit (it looked like a hobbit foot at first) and now color is coming in nicely.

And if this happens remember R.I.C.E.

R: REST
I: ICE
C: Compress
E: Elevate

End of PSA. Back to our normal programming.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I just did the X-fit Helen workout:

15:27 Sprinted 400 meters, 50lb. kettlebell swings x8, and 12 pull-ups for 3 rounds...

Ouch! When my friend's and I did Insanity, we did it with our shoes on always because we would slide every where otherwise. I can't imagine doing that kind of jumping around without shoes.

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

I do wear my cross-trainers when I do my exercises but its the carpet that's the problem. It's not a sturdy uniform surface like turf so the risk of ankle injuries is increased.

Ahh, that makes sense, I think our carpet was worn from so many years of use (it was due for a replacement before we moved in but didn't care too much about it) and that is probably why it worked alright with our shoes.

That is the one of the hard things I've found with some home workout stuff is trying to find a non-carpeted area that will work.
