Starting a Ghostbusters Ray uniform - help!
I want to make a GB1 Ray's uniform replica starting from the flight suit and the boots for now. Anyone knows Dan Aykroyd's uniform size and/or his boots size?
I was to buying a Nomex CWU-27/P flight suit but I stopped because from what I got, checking at gbfans.com, these suits are not the correct ones; they just have the same movie suit pattern but their fabric is totally wrong. Were they real flight suits or were they manufactured by an outer company as in GB2? Has the correct rip stop nylon fabric been identified? I want a fabric that match the actual costume and not one dyed to match the ones seen on screen or on photos. If it has been found I was planning to sent it to Flightsuits, Ltd (www.gibson-barnes.com; ex flightsuits.com) who made them for GB2. The pattern is the same right? I wonder if they know the correct actors size. The boots used are Vietnam era paratrooper high top boots, but have the right model or brand been identified? I want the costume to be the more accurate as possible and any help and reference pic would be appreciated. |

Pop over to gbfans.com and contact a guy with the username Kind2311. He's knows his stuff when it comes to screen accurate GB suits.
