    Hi all,

    I began my Dark Helmet costume

    here is what i have for now

    Eyeglasses


    Gloves ( i have to put on it the Studs and add a leather sleeve )


    Boots


    I'm planning to put this on the shorts and arm


    the rings ( on each sides of the tie ) i used a metal ring for fence, a curtain pole wood ring and a thimbles for the center


    the vac formed pieces


    and began the helmet dome with styrofoam and plaster







    here is the vac form test of the dome , i saw it little to short , so i have to raise up one inches the bottom ,



    i ordered my black polystyrene , i'm suppose to have it next week

    very very very nice set up so far. I instantly recognized the glasses. such a great costume and will be very recognizable i have to say. im going to enjoy watching you WIP!

    maybe depending how the face plate result gonna be out of the mold . I will start a INT tread in the junkyard when i get done the helmet

    Once I saw the spaceballs topic, I had to click and see how you were going about doing your helmet. I have seen a cardboard version but not a version that is coming along as nicely as yours. Fantastic job so far!

    I thought the face plate would be easier then that , actually it's a pain in the a** ..lol

    I am watching this with much interest as well. Would love to get the Dark Helmet bucket if you make them available. The only thing i notice is that the sides seem to come down more before flaring out in the Screen used one.

    I have modified the mold already . This is the difference between the first dome on the second mold
