Space 1999 Flight Suit

I have started work on a Space 1999 flight suit,

So far I have finished the belt and stun gun holster,

the numbers for the chest box,

the patches for the sleeves,

the Alpha Moonbase patch is from FabGear U.S.A. the other 2 I had made.

and the boots,

and ankle rings for the suit,

I also have the helmet and visor,

I have also finished the mold for the neck ring and have started on the pattern for the suit itself. I hope to have the neck ring pulled this week and the complete neck seal by next week.

any chance you can tell me what make the helmet is and the visor
i would love to have a go at doing a helmet my self

Jay, the helmet is a 70's Bell Star 120. The visor is an amber bubble shield for helmets.

That and Space:1999 Catacombs provided me with everything I needed to know. ;)
 
Here is an update on the project.

First is the helmet with the bottom extension put in and the bolts for the neck ring.

Second, the wrist pieces in various stages including the molds in the back. I didn't notice until the other night, that on these pieces, the buttons are only on the left one. The right one is plain jane.

and third.......the suit itself with the wrist pieces on. All that is left on the suit is to put the velcro on the bottom of the legs to hold the ankle rings on. Here are 2 photos in different lighting.

Thanks guys! dsw, the suit is home made. My mother-in-law and I made it. We made the pattern for it, cut and quilted it ,put in the zippers everything.
