    Sep 28, 2007 - seeking "tron" reference #1

Ok, we've all seen the "tron guy" pics, but this is a serious post, I have a female friend who wants to do a nice tron costume for halloween. Does anyone have some good reference pics of any of the characters from tron?
I've done some google image searching and all i can seem to find is the "tron guy"

    thanks in advance,

Does she want to do a "Light Up" version or a screen accurate version?

she's on a budget, but has expressed interest in an EL kit to light up at least part of the costume

Well, being that I am a jerk , I would post the pic...

But Jay is serious about costuming, so I'll not make fun.

How about a pic of the "female friend" in comparable attire?

    You lucky bastard!
I've just surfed some Tron-sites couples of days ago and downloaded some pics from the prop costumes. You owe me big time . And have a look at http://electroluminescence-inc.com/ELsheets.htm - they have everything you need, EL sheets and super small inverter drivers - even for hats. The best would be to use one big sheet and cover them with the circuit pattern, instead of cutting the EL sheet into tiny fractions.

Better than a picture of the Tron Guy, a ten minute TV clip of him:

He's actually a pretty cool dude. Just has the problem of picking a lycra-body-suited character to dress as when he's built like Drew Carey after a bender.

Oh MAN... that's the first I've seen of that interview! Great stuff! But, I also noticed this gem featuring Tron Guy along with the Fairy Prince himself in a music video!!!
