Rocketeer Helmet! Take that Nazi's!!!

This was my first project so I decided to make something that I always wanted but wasn't integral to my collection so that way I would be ok with it not being perfect. My original intention was to make a more modern interpretation of the Rocketeer (taking off the side details, a sleaker paint job) however I feel like I got stuck somewhere inbetween (I couldn't find the perfect paint, I should have taken more liberties with the overall design, I should have done a better job planning the design before I started). It didn't turn out perfect, as expected, but I learned alot that I will be able to apply to other projects. Sorry I don't have more pics of the build but a took them with my phone and then something happened to it (another mistake lol). It was your typical pep, fiberglass, bondo. The only real challenge was the eyes. I cut up a thick plastic bottle, glued the eyes on, and then bondo'd over them glue. If you have any tips to making eyes on projects similar to this let me know, my friend is doing an Invincible costume and is having trouble with the eyes. He's looking for a pair of sunglasses with the right shape but I feel like there's got to be other options. So if you have any tips for doing eye designs leave them here. Are you going to add any weathering to your Rocketeer helmet??

Not bad for your first project. It will only get better from here if you take advise from the talent around here!

No weathering although i do want to try it on a project just for the practice. I know that weathering looks great but I just prefer to make my own blemishes by running around in it like an idiot.
